How to Brew the Perfect Cup of Coffee at Home

French Press

1. Add 1–2 tablespoons of coarsely ground coffee per cup to your French press.

2. Pour hot water (just off the boil) over the grounds.

3. Stir, place the lid on, and let it brew for 4 minutes.

4. Slowly press down the plunger and enjoy.

Pour-Over

Pour-over coffee brings out bright, clean flavors.

1. Place a filter in your pour-over cone and rinse it with hot water.

2. Add a tablespoon of medium-ground coffee per cup.

3. Pour hot water in slow circles over the grounds, letting the coffee drip through.

4. Remove the cone and serve.

Drip Coffee Maker

This method is easy and reliable for busy mornings.

1. Place a filter and medium-ground coffee (1 tablespoon per cup) in the basket.

2. Fill the machine’s reservoir with fresh water.

3. Turn it on and let it brew.
